These are then hand roasted and crafted to perfection using the skills of our Master Roaster, who develops the unique characteristics of each and every bean, for the ultimate coffee experience.
Sourcing and buying coffee direct from its origin in this way also means a better deal for the farmer, his family and the wider community, allowing them to invest in the coffees of the future.
These beans are seasonal and demonstrate the complexities and amazing differences in taste, depending on whether the coffee has been grown in the Central and South Americas, Asia, Indonesia or Africa.
Speciality Coffee Of the Month BRAZIL SITIO NOSSA DE SENHORA
Q Grade Score: 84.25 (very good)
This month's speciality coffee is a delightful Sitio Nossa de Senhora, sourced from the mountainous region of Cerrado, Minas Gerais. This 26 hectare microlot has been owned by Rogerio Gil Lemos since 1999. The coffee is prepared naturally then dried for 10-15 days.
To cup, this coffee is thick and chunky with big body, black forest gateaux and a hint of orange liqueur in the finish.
